My name is Marcus Ellison. I have served as an attorney in the state of Indiana since 2001. Currently, I have my own legal practice. Marcus Ellison law firm, with a focus on civil and business litigation. I have prior experience as a deputy prosecutor. I focused on traffic and misdemeanor cases as well as felony DUI and vehicular matters. I was also the office community prosecutor. I served as a liaison with area crime prevention groups. I also have experience as an in-house attorney with a fortune 500 company. There I sold stocks, bonds, and insurance. I have been an associate attorney at a major national law firm practicing in the area of civil litigation. I have taught at a number of two and four year colleges. I have taught in both online and offline formats. Marcus Ellison I reside in my hometown of South Bend, Indiana where I was born and raised. After high school, I attended Georgetown University in Washington D.C. I earned a BA with a double major in Government and Classics. At Georgetown, I was a member of the varsity football team. I was an elected class representative to our student government. I also was in band and choir. After Georgetown, I went to the University of Notre Dame Law School. After law school, I began working as a deputy prosecutor. I also went back to school online through the University of Phoenix. I earned an MBA with a concentration in e-commerce. I have taught at a number of two and four year colleges. I have taught in both online and offline formats. Education is about immersing yourself in learning situations that you would not usually have an opportunity to experience. Thus, as a facilitator, I seek to help students balance between gaining factual knowledge and developing critical thinking skills. It is also important to have an appreciation for diverse viewpoints. I also have designed curriculum. I am QM certified as a master facilitator. I can teach in several areas. Business. Business Law. Criminal Justice. Ecommerce. Law.

Regardless of format, level, or style; education is about experiencing situations and immersing yourself in learning situations that you would not otherwise have an opportunity to experience.
